Satellite intelligence reveals coordinated Iranian missile and drone strikes damaging 16 U.S. military installations, disrupting command networks, degrading missile defence systems, and escalating the strategic confrontation across the Middle East.
(DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA) — The revelation that at least 16 United States military installations across the Middle East sustained significant damage from coordinated Iranian missile and drone strikes in early 2026 reframes the conflict as a systemic degradation of American forward-deployed combat infrastructure rather than a contained exchange of retaliatory fire.
The investigative findings—supported by satellite imagery, battlefield forensics, and interviews with U.S. officials and regional sources—directly challenge official assertions from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that Iranian retaliatory capacity had been largely neutralised, raising immediate credibility gaps in strategic communications.
As Representative Pat Ryan publicly questioned command accountability and demanded leadership consequences, the operational reality emerging from damaged radars, destroyed command nodes, and displaced personnel signals a widening disconnect between political narrative management and battlefield outcomes with global strategic implications.
This article is dated from May?
I know right lol when you are grasping at hella straws to make your idea make sense.
That's right dismiss the historical evidence by ridiculing the messenger.
You have not refuted the fact that massive damage has been done to the US military bases in the Middle East and that this damage has been systematically concealed by the US govt.
Context- this post is just one of many supporting links that are included in this post-

The war against Iran is breaking the final pillar of US global dominance
Go ahead and address the issue, or continue avoiding them and denying them by trying to shoot the messenger - if you do so you only continue to you cannot address the substantive issues raised.
If you consistently try to stretch the truth and frame things in a clearly incorrect light, then yeah, it is okay to ridicule the messenger. The damage was concealed at first, but honestly, since July it's been pretty clear if you look at satellite imagery providers. The US might have the most satellites and the most advanced ones, but taking a picture from space now isn't hard, and so you can use other sources.
You have said numerous times, even before the Iran conflict, that the "last pillar of US global dominance" is breaking. I am still waiting for it to happen since you are emphatic that it will happen any day now. All of this stuff you say about the dollar being a deal, the US military not being strong, etc etc just flat-out isn't accurate. This conflict has been w/o or very limited action by ground troops. When we had to put boots on the ground to rescue the downed pilot notice how we did so without any deaths.
Iran has failed to really lock down the strait. Under darkness, with US protection, we have seen a lot of oil move through the strait, and that is because the strikes on radar facilities are now being exposed as a huge issue. Iran has shown that it is relying on boats going out to relay where ships are, and while that works in the daylight, it's terrible at night.
If you want to allege things against my posts you need to substantiate them.
Or be guilty of exactly what you are accusing me of.
Where the fuck have I stretched the truth (except in jest with @coffeebadger or other blatant provocateurs )?
If someone like coffeebadger launches into absurd rhetoric, as they do, I will respond in kind.
But when there is a reasoned and reasonable response i will respond in kind also.
Where the fuck have I stretched the truth in a clearly incorrect light where that has not been provoked by equal or greater rhetoric from a respondent???
Show me-
SILENCE.
Yes the Iran war has not been all out all the time but it is a stalemate after more than 6 months when Trump and co claimed it would be over in weeks.
The USA is exposed as being unable to force its will upon Iran.
Iran is using asymmetric warfare and has succeeded in wearing down both US military supplies, morale and public support.
In that sense Iran could be seen as the winner so far.
In a wider sense yes I see US hegemony as declining and its dependence upon the petrodollar is obvious to anyone who looks into it- are you asserting that the seigniorage and interest income and strategic leverage that the petrodollar gives USA is not one of if not the most significant pillars of US power and hegemony?
Because if you are you are directly contradicting Trump and his statements and just simple common sense!
The US empire is only viable today with the petrodollar fiat debt system propping it up.
You have not had a trading surplus in decades and you are spending morer and more on military way beyond your income from taxes.
Nobody is buying USTs anymore- you are increasingly buying them them yourselves in a desperate end of empire orgy of squandering your remaining credibility, good will and resources.
Finally and with respect I would refer you back to the article that this post is just a subsidiary of and that this post here just gives some context to.

That post is an article by a respected academic spelling out the reasoning and historical context of the current US empire decline.
I suggest you try and refute it rather than calling me names, taking things out of context and alleging I am exaggerating the situation.
You and these leftist academics are completely ignoring the USA's own perspective of what decline means.
Imagine I move to Shanghai, and I become the mayor of Shanghai. Then I stop enforcing the central government's immigration laws so that millions of Japanese can move there, so now the Yakuza owns Shanghai. And if Xi deports my supporters I call him an imperialist bully.
This is what your "respected academic" wants to see for the US. And he's lecturing me on the US being in decline. Of course it's in decline. And voting for Trump means voting against the decline.
You don't have to agree with my perspective. If you think the United States shouldn't exist, you're entitled to that opinion. But for a country on the brink of death defending its existence against practically everyone, the US is doing pretty great. And it's really going to get better when this becomes a global A-B test of USA vs PRC. You are the perfect foil to prove to the world why our existence is a net positive.
Yes- and in May did we know the amount of damage already done to US military installations?
No!
How much more damage has been done now?
We DON'T Know!
We can only extrapolate from the amount of concealment that has already been orchestrated by the US military and government.
US military power projection capacity is being tested and found lacking.
The foundations of the petrodollar empire are, arguably, crumbling.
See-
The war against Iran is breaking the final pillar of US global dominance
I want good information. We don't know a lot. I suspect the U.S. is censoring, but posting this article from May as if it reflected events happening yesterday doesn't help the search for the truth.
We can only extrapolate from what past events have been exposed to guess what the level of damage is today, as we know it is being concealed by the US military.
I did not mean to conceal it is from May, and didn't, but maybe should have highlighted that.
You act like each attack is the same so this one equals the last one or is even worse. That's not how war works, not when you have the sheer number of assets that not just the US has, but countries like Jordan have. There is a significant difference in the Patriot battery response from yesterday as well, which was not there in the May and June strikes.
If you did not have a history of shrilling one side and one group, that would be one thing, but you do, so the idea that you "did not mean to conceal it is from May" falls on deaf ears. You have consistently tried to shape things to fit your narrative, not facts.
That is bullshit. Nowhere have I asserted each attack is the same.
Yes the US has vast military assets but thats the whole point that I would make as opposed to things you allege I say - the US behaves like a bully and has become increasingly aggressive and disrespectful of international law and norms of behaviour.
That is turning the world against the US.
Because the US has lost the economic productive advantage it once had it is turning toward brutal power projection and ruthless imperialism- that will not win any friends but does risk losing many.
I have never shilled one side of the other- I say how I see it from a neutral standpoint.
Try refuting what I have said rather than alleging things that are untrue or discrediting me by asserting I am somehow dishonest or biased.
Perhaps it is your bias that is speaking when you make these false allegations.
I would prefer to stick to the know facts and the ones we do not know because of the fog of war and the lies and concealment that the US military and Trump are exercising.
We know now that US military power is much reduced and that the claims that this would be a brie war of a few weeks were completely wrong.
The USA has lost the trade war to China and is now seeking to use its remaining military power to cut down China and its trading partners.
That is the nature of US imperialism but it is no longer working as it once did.
The world is tired of your US exceptionalist imperialism and your backing for war criminals like Bibi and the Zionists in his government.
I’d rather see the latest satellite imagess
