Wrong.
Chinas mixed model of state led capital direction toward strategic infrastructure and development combined with private sector enterprise is precisely what has delivered Chinas economic dominance over the USA.
Rare earths refining was a deliberate strategic development as was electricity generation and efficiency along with EVs, PVs, LEDs and millions of trained engineers and technicians.
Directing capital, labour and resources toward the maximisation of the nations productive capacity and output.
The majority of the politburo are trained engineers.
Then why are they losing WWIII?
China has not expended a single military hardware or soldier or civilian though it has profited significantly from the sale of drone parts and other dual use goods and services along with the purchase of significantly discounted oil and gas from Russia and Iran while enjoying huge strategic advantage via its vast reserves of oil and gas, booming sales of PVs, EVs and lithium batteries as the world moves away from fossil fuels toward more sustainable technology.
Meanwhile USA has expended most of its soft power capital and nearly all of its Interceptors.
USA can't make anymore Interceptors unless Xi removes the embargo on export of refined rare earths to US military supply chains.
Good luck with that.
The US military network is depleted and exposed as deficit and incapable of maintaining secure trade routes, power projection and protection of subservient tribute states.
It has dragged many into a war they don't want and that is costing them dearly.
All for the sake of the Zionist war criminals who own USA...helping them to expand via land grabs and genocide and other war crimes toward their dream of a Greater Israel.
Who is losing?
Suez-Hormuz-end of petrodollar empire.

Great. Make a move on Taiwan and put those batteries to work. Let's see what happens.
No need to if you think about it - much better to wait for US to collapse and Taiwan to request reunification.
An enduring empire is not built up in haste or reduced to ashes swiftly, but rather with patience and following the tides of history.
Tide is going out on the petrodollar empire...
No need to if you think about it - much better to wait for US to collapse and Taiwan to request reunification.
What do you care if they request it or not? Go take back your territory from the evil separatists.
I am a neutral observer from New Zealand with no claim on Taiwan nor bias or preference in the matter.
It would however seem to be a far superior victory for China to bide their time and wait for Taiwan to reintegrate voluntarily as using force and imperialist dictates upon people rarely turns out well in the long run...
Just look at the US record in trying to steamroll people to conform to its wishes- rarely ends well...from Korea to Vietnam, Iraq to Afghanistan.
China might choose wisely to avoid the self defeating excesses, arrogance and militaristic imperialism of the 'US Exceptionalist' petrodollar empire.
Just look at the US record in trying to steamroll people to conform to its wishes- rarely ends well...from Korea to Vietnam, Iraq to Afghanistan.
Korea? Korea?? We're not forcing them now. They could always choose to stop eating if they want the communist experience.

There's no time. We're going to blockade them and force the issue.

You wouldn't be allowed to state a preference because if you get the words wrong some MSS agent will kill you.
Nothing you described can be attributed to government intervention. That's all private sector labor.
