Chinas domination of the global commodity markets and manufactured goods is built in large part upon the state led provision of electricity to consumers and producers at the lowest cost.

In China electricty is supplied at less than half the cost it is available in any modern industrialised economy- this is a huge factor in what enables China to out compete USA and EU. It is the state capitalist- free market hybrid model in action defeating your neoliberalised financialised crony capitalism.

The sale of NZs generators to private interests has created a cartel that profits hugely by limiting supply and gouging customers.
A national electricity grid is inherently a natural monopoly and thus very prone to rentseeking anti-competitive behaviour and due to the corrupt neoliberal National party that is exactly what has occurred here in NZ, with devastating consequences.

Multiple processing businesses are now closing due to the inflated cost of electricity.
Food canning factories, timber processors and many more...because the inflated price of electricity makes them uneconomic.

Profit seeking infrastructure providers will act as rentseeking cartels whenever a government neglects its duty to prevent such behaviour.
Agree there is a line that needs to be drawn on government involvement but when it is drawn correctly it creates huge economic opportunity that would otherwise be suffocated by rentseeking cartel and monopolies.

Fake news. This is not a legitimate economic concern. This is a made-up pretext to seize the means of production, open the borders, empty the prisons. invade Taiwan, castrate children, and put white people in concentration camps.

The United States rejects your lies in the name of Jesus. Death to all adherents of your ideology. Death I say!

If you bought Bitcoin, the Ledger of Peace, then the costs are going down due to the liberation of the market from state meddling.

I'm drawing the line. It's in November. Do not tread!

You don't acknowledge the rentseeking price gouging cartel forming tendencies of private capital where it is not limited by government?

reply

No of course not. You don't.

You're richer than me. BTC is almost $80k. Why are you price gauging me? Why shouldn't the government step in to address this injustice by force? Why shouldn't money itself be considered public infrastructure so that we can all benefit? Because right now you have a price gouging cartel where you get to charge me whatever you feel that you can get from me.

Socialism means lower your prices or I'll kill you. You wouldn't like it if I did this to you. But if Labour wins then I will, because that's the standard of morality you've chosen to live with. You still have two months to repent, otherwise you get the black dorito.

You are spouting incoherent nonsense.
Enjoy your crony capitalism as it destroys the USA.
You are outta Interceptors.
The Petrodollar is the biggest state backed cartel on the planet and its dying because China is a more productive competitive economic model.

USA owned and used by Zionist war criminals who have owned the Federal Reserve since 1913.
They don't believe in Jesus- they are using the USA to build their Greater Israel Empire.

reply

Not incoherent at all. You're okay taking money from billionaires but you don't want me to take money from you. Where's the moral standard here?

Billionaires, in fact all participants in an economy benefit from the rule of law and infrastructure provided by the government of that economy.

I am happy to pay taxes to the extent that those taxes enable me to gain wealth and security.

You want to live without roads and law and order?

It is very difficult to operate a viable business if contracts are not enforceable.
