If the state or a medical institution can override your expressed will because they consider you to have "run your course" or to be a "burden," then the most fundamental private property of all—your own body—has ceased to exist.
In other words: Reducing human life to a checklist of "reproduction" and "cost to others" is the perfect definition of a collectivist dystopia.
It could be called: state-run social cleansing.
Seems like the financial incentives for this sorta thing are all kinds of messed up in socialized medicine situations.
is this the same story that came out a few months ago, where there was nobody to care for her, and she was delusional, and there was no funds/assets to seize, or doctors recommending it blah-blah-blah?
