Fortunately we have been passed this phase for a couple years. My daughter was pretty good about it. My son held on as long as feasibly possible. The guy was 14 and still asking for no crust. Now I tell him to make his own sandwich.

Yeah, 14 will definitely be "make your own sandwich" territory. Although, I still won't want the crusts going to waste.
