I was checking out what inscriptions are being minted onchain and it is quite ironic that people put pictures of money there hehe. It appears it is being used also as a library of stuff that will soon be in the category of "used to be".
While I have zero time for inscriptions, I do think one use case that is cool is adding annotation text to document bitcoin history for future plebs who might want to look back on what we did during our time alive, for example, inscribing text and the date a country switched to bitcoin is legal tender, I think that is one use case other than that not much going on here that id be interested in

I couldn't agree more :). I was just curious to see what is being inscribed. Majority of it is just useless jpg.

You do have services that exist already that are cheaper and more efficient, thus saving space, like Mainstay

Inscriptions are cool because they're like graffiti on the money, so you'd expect them to have little pictures of what was going on at the time.
