Unfortunately it looks like Paypal closed the bill-pay option to double-dip on credit card rewards using the Fold card to payoff your credit cards (and mortage, etc)
Only workaround I could find is with Citi cards (double cash, costco visa) you can still call in and make a phone payment via debit card. Not as convenient, takes about 4m to navigate the prompts, but seems well worth it for the extra ~$25 in sats per $1250 (2%) in credit card spend.

This was thee sat hustle especially being able to pay mortgages through PayPal with the fold card

Lolololol what clickbaity bullshit. Fold signed a non-compete in order to get access to Visa, not the other way around 😂🤣🤡
Remember: Fold is a company based on holding dollar balances so you can LARP as a spiritual bitcoiner on VC subsidies for a product that will be inherently interior to regular rewards, especially if you consider inconvenience of fiat loading into highly illiquid Fold holding account. Pointless company. 🤦‍♂️

partnership with VISA
LOL thanks but no. We are NOT going back to fiat. Bitcoin ONLY.

Bitcoin is the Trojan horse actually.
And it can fly. Beyond a car. But I like the meme.

You both have valid points. I don't think this is fiat, but the issue is that the BTC is custodial, and the custodian is tradfi. Not your keys, not your coin.
Still, this is a good on-ramp for the normies, especially given the option of prepaid cards.

When I say bitcoin is a Trojan horse I don't mean that is a strategy. I mean it is part of the incentives that will make it hard to defeat. Because of the design of bitcoin it will draw companies and states to it. I'm not advocating for this, just reporting the weather. If Bitcoin required all of us to become true believers it would be doomed to failure.

Nope. For more you support the fiat system, in any form or shape, more you continue suffering and support slavery.
For more you are using every day BTC in direct payments, you are making it stronger and making weaker the fiat system.
Stop lying yourself with the trojan horse... Stop giving them a reason to exist. FIAT DELENDA EST

How is this "exclusive"? Who do they exclude?

I think Fold is committing to Visa, so there won’t be a Fold Mastercard or Fold Amex in the future.

Cool, hope this fixes my ability to pay bills with Fold.
