Really cool simple website.
If you wanted optimal usability, one set of sliders might be best. To see both charts visually changing in tandem (or not). The slim layout currently means you have to vertically scroll up and down a bit to see the effect. Top marks however for implementation, you nailed it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Yes, the layout is not optimal right now. I struggle to find a better one right now that also works on mobile.
I got some ideas. I‘ll try them in the coming days.

The grayed out slider is fucking amazing lol

It's great. It should actually allow to go negative as coins get lost.

Haha, thanks!
Going negative! Of course! I‘ll try that

Can't find it now but a few weeks ago someone shared a site with proof of lost coins, could be a good resource to link to

I like the idea. Need to spend more time with it, but I think it should take on more of a scientific/research look & feel. Something like this: https://ciechanow.ski/bicycle/
Why the "Mio USD" units?

Thanks for the feedback!
It is intended to help people while 🍊💊 no coiners. I wanted to keep it simple for that reason.
I do have a few additional ideas in mind.
E.g. show the „slices of cake“ and when you increase the supply, it should show more slices of cake (while the total size of cake stays the same). I experienced that some people struggle to translate this concept money and their saving accounts (or purchasing power).
I hope I get to try this one out this weekend.

Idk why but .sh domains make me nervous. I guess because it feels like I’m downloading a shell script lol
Anyway, there’s a lot of words on the page, which can overwhelming, but the interactive diagrams are brilliant. Nice work!

Haha, I feel you! Wasn’t easy to find a tld for a short URL ^^
Thanks for the feedback! I‘ll try to shorten it a bit.

Ha. I don't know what feedback to offer other than this is perfect and well done.
I think it would look better on my computer screen but thems a shrewd nitpick.

Thanks a lot! :D
Yes, the layout is a bit tricky on mobile. Still not 100% happy with it. I got some ideas that I‘ll be trying in the coming days.

very cool stuff it's hard to explain to people who are engulfed into the belief the dollar is money when it is in fact currency...changing ones unit of account is extremely difficult especially if they have alot of dollars...they don't want to hear or believe what is being told to them about this wealth they have accumulated in currency...always tell friends n family theres a difference between money and currency

💯
I initially came up with „needing“ to build this because I saw people struggling too with these concepts while I tried to explain it to them.
Especially the part how the inflation of the supply makes your savings account actually smaller (relatively speaking).
