edit: you mention week 12, so let's extend it to week 12, week 10 sounds arbitrary, maybe no re-buys after Thanksgiving or no re-buys after Christmas

I wouldn't be against extending it.
Maybe we will just add infinite rebuys next year and the winner can be who used the least or tiebreaker in week 18.

infinite re-buys but the entry fee doubles for each rebuy
entry fee = 1000
rebuy = 2000
next buy = 4000
next buy = 8000
etc

What do you prefer. The only reason we have that is I don't like the idea of two player left in week 12 and they both lose but someone has a rebuy so they win the pool by rebuying. I get they earned to be in the situation but then we shouldn't have a rebuy at all.
And the only reason we have the rebuy is to make sure the pool doesn't end in week 5 because we all suck. Haha
