Deport all Libertarians to Gaza and see how they enjoy a chronic lack of government, rule of law and protection from the state.

libertarians aren't the ones that love Gaza

reply

we need more queers for Palestine. Aren't the colleges busy making more?!

reply

They're doing their best but the demographic pyramid is inverted

reply

You both desperately evade the point I was making...because you cannot refute it.

That government and its ability to protect and advance its peoples interests is fucking important to the comfort, wealth and well being of all people and that Libertarians are a bunch of Icelandic-1st world-mostly US petrodollar empire citizens - welfare recipient hypocrites.

reply

The fact that it's the domestic government of Israel, which controls Palestine, seems like more of a point in our favor. A strong state oppresses the people within its jurisdiction more than it protects them from foreign threats.

reply

Yes states can oppress the people of other states if the people of the other state (Palestine) do not have a sufficiently strong state...especially where Israel is strongly supported by the world super power USA.
The Palestinians have had their government and rights subjugated for ever 70 years by Israel with Israel having the support of first Britain and then the US.
State power matters hugely in your and everyones personal wealth and security.
Anyone who disagrees with this truth should be sent directly to Gaza to realise the foolishness of Libertarian ideology!

reply

Palestine doesn't have an independent state. Israel holds the monopoly on violence over that territory, which makes this an extreme case of domestic oppression, not a case of foreign conquest. The conquest happened 60 years ago.

reply

Palestine was cut up by the British to create Israel and that division has been continued by the US.
Israel is occupying territory it has no sovereign claim to- it is an occupying force, backed by the USA.
For hundreds of years the national boundaries of the Africa and middle east have been drawn up in the capitals of Europe and the US...mostly to facilitate resource hegemony.
But state power doesn't matter???

using Gaza as an example of libertarian failure is quite something

reply

I am not doing that.
Again you misrepresent what I wrote.
Avoiding the issue, desperately, again.
Lazy and dishonest argument because you cannot engage in good faith and with honesty because your ideology is so twisted and flawed.

reply

It's true there seems very little empathy from Libertarians for a population being subjected to war crimes and brutality.
Your constant cries and demands for 'rights' for the individual only extend as far as your own nose.
