yeah, that's fair. But that's how we count... it's misleading for the masses, agreed; but those of us in the weeds know that [market cap = quantity x marginal price] doesn't _actually_ mean that the "market cap" in any real sense is that. See bitcoin, gold, stocks, houses or literally _anything_.
