This is one of those projects that I watch from afar until they implement the things that i need but i am cheering for them!

Also, the rooms v2 server is exactly what i would have designed. it’s brilliantly flexible. i can easily imagine a future where businesses offer public rooms that connect users as a service and way to advertise their business.

Same here! I have been following Scuttlebutt for some time, even tried running it... I'm excited to see what happens in this space.
Briar actually has somewhat similar solution to mesh conversations and if it would have transferable accounts it would also solve my itch.
And further I wonder if there would be connection/similarity with Nostr and then I'm wondering how hard would it be to be able to stream sats to some posts if those posts give me value... we will see :)
