Look at bitcoin's performance against Argentina peso over the past year.
This could be huge, and it's not an isolated case.

That graph calculates the price taking the official USD rate (~214 ARS/USD and not the free market rate of ~390 ARS/USD). So it's almost twice as bad.

Wow! Good to know. I'm sure things are similar in Lebanon,Turkey, Egypt, Cuba, and many other places too.
