I started a subreddit called r/BitcoinSG that aims to introduce my countrymen methods to accumulate sats and news to level up their knowledge of Bitcoin. I doubt many people in my country know the existence of StackerNews, so I thought why not write an introductory post extolling its marvels?
  1. To absorb the infectious energy of Bitcoin developers
Suffice it to say that my knowledge of Bitcoin grew exponentially after my time here. Many people seem to be working on cool projects related to Bitcoin, and it’s interesting to see how they integrate Bitcoin into their lives rather than see it as a store of value or a speculative asset. It’s a refreshing attitude. Keep building, guys.
  1. To learn about new ways of accumulating sats
Stacker News is the place where I learnt about cool projects. Take for instance Litstak, a site that gives you a sat for making a choice between two images or new items. Also, it seems that Cowdle is not functioning anymore but I had fun guessing a six-letter word via this game on Damus. The amount of sats accumulated is nothing worth shouting about, I must warn you, but because these projects were conceptualised by people who wanted to do something cool, I found myself prioritising fun likewise.
  1. To be a Bitcoin content creator
You can post either a link or your writing just for one sat. If the users here find your post useful, they will tip you some sats. It’s quite the thrill to see your opinions and feelings gather some validation in the form of sats! Of equal value is the comments left by the users. When many people chime in with their point of view, you can’t help feeling that your post has created ripples in the community here. Not gonna lie, it’s quite ego-boosting. Also don’t forget to join the Monday Meme competition here. Who knows? Your submission might just win the grand prize.
See you on Stacker News!
