Thanks for what? To take your BTC and give you back fiat shitcoins?
So what now? We replaced MoneyGram with LN but people still use fiat shitcoin? This is not Bitcoin adoption, people still use fiat shitcoin. Where is the "innovation" here?
Why not just use directly ONLY Bitcoin and LN and never go back to fiat anymore?

I agree.
BUT I hope it's a step in the right direction. Eventually, people will wonder why they're converting to fiat at all. Bitcoin is obviously superior. It's just not obvious to them yet. Get them using it, and they'll start to see it.
