Total misleading article!

Please stop using this bombastic titles and mislead non-experimented readers and also put more gas on fire for MSM.
  1. It refers and compare only the nostr users. Even that chart is incomplete, is hard to say which node, which wallet are using those users. That chart is based only on the presumption that all nostr users use only those wallets to receive using a LN address. That is NOT true!
  2. Using a custodial service just for receiving some meaningless zaps it doesn't mean there is "centralization" in LN. The custodial wallets are usually used with a small amount of sats, and temporary, users withdraw their sats when the amount is higher., into a self custody wallet. Custodial wallets are also a very good way as a decoy wallet, NOT revealing your final destination when you receive a payment. ÊAs I explained in this guide. So learn how to use these tools before saying stupidities. I am not trying to defend custodial services, but we should take advantage of them if we can. A non-KYC custodial service is a perfect decoy to protect your identity.
  3. The article also do not mention not a single word about PRIVATE NODES (Breez, Blixt, Phoenix, OBW, Electrum etc) that are not even visible in the public charts of nodes. And those are a high number! Here is a guide about private nodes
  4. On LN never will be a centralization. Why? Because of the incentives to run a public routing node. And also running in parallel private nodes, connected to those public routing nodes.
This comment deserves more sats than the OP's post
