Bhutan is a funny place, expensive to migrate there, most of the land is a nature reserve, it's a monarchy. Yes it's pretty small too, and most of it wouldn't be viable for human use without cheaper energy anyway. But it's cool, it proves the game theory - nation states are now resolutely getting in on it...

I can see a small monarchy being more likely to adopt bitcoin than a democracy. Time preference. One of the many flaws of democracies are the short term priorities of caretaker politicians.
