Does anybody know why fees on bitcoin are averaging 100 sats/vbyte on some blocks yesterday, is it just ordinals?

I had to do a bigger on-chain transaction that needed to confirm quickly and cried a little bit when I paid $3 (still, cheaper than the $80 swift charged me).

To be honest, I don't really pay attention to cycles or what not, and also don't pay attention to the so called tops and bottoms. As such, I don't think I'll be able to give you a good answer. I will recommend one tried and tested strategy though: stay humble and stack sats.

Nitrates and potassium in the begging, leaning into phosphates at the end. Plants breath CO2 so a steady flow throughout the grow cycles is always good. There are several natural amendments containing needed nutrients to use throughout as well, also beneficial bacteria for symbiosis!!!!!!! I love to talk about plants so I definitely needed to hear it!!!

I am guilty of disturbing the soil, when I am growing thing out doors I alway till down about 2 feet and add super soil I make myself, with a lot of perlite and worm castings. I try to till about a ten food radius around each plant because the further the feeder roots travel the bigger the plant. They usually don’t go deeper then 2 ft. I place stones to step on so as not to disturb the soil, but I’m anal so I like to track my feeder roots to see how far they travel in a certain amount of time. It helps you dial in the nutrients your using. Sometimes they travel past the ten foot mark, so I till out further and add more of my mixture. Also a very important part growing is the acidity in your soil/ growing media so soil disturbance needs to happen for that reason as well. This is a fun conversation, I did not think I would be having on here!!!

However, he was very interested and even proposed that he would join SN and post a comment here when I asked about how to proof the outcome in a private way!

After leaving, I realized I probably don't need proof if the outcome of the bet is against me, haha

But I will send him an invite and the link to the specification.

Maybe he can just add his thoughts about the protocol here? :)

I realize I need to change my name to something more recognizable! and yeah, I teach at a university and had someone come to me for advice on doing a study on something bitcoin related, and the girl who did it looked at me like, "what, you mean... I don't have to explain everything from 0? that literally never happened to me." So I assumed he wouldn't know... :D but yes, I want to know what he thought!

I wanted to ask if he knows about Login with Lightning and if not, show him how I log into my SN account and explaining the simple protocol.

If he says yes, I will just ask what his opinion is on it. I assume he will explain how it works then to point out flaws or advantages.

I will think about a way to proof that I am not lying about the outcome.

Maybe taking a picture of two different hands of a letter on which is written "Yes, I knew about LNURL-auth" or "No, I didn't know about LNURL-auth" with a slide of the lecture in the background?

Should be private. Maybe I can also ask him how I can proof it in a private way since I think he also works on privacy stuff haha
