What would be the best arguments to convince an older gold bug of Bitcoin's value?
Given they already understand shitcoins are shitcoins (I don't see gold as a shitcoin).

The fact that you cannot transport gold at the speed of light around the world with little to no cost.
Gold had proven to have failed when banks were able to capture gold and issue fractional reserve claims to the physical gold.
Humans don’t only desire salability over time in a money (which gold is good for), but we also desire salability over space (which gold is horrible at). Bitcoin achieves both salability over time and space with outstanding superiority over gold. The choice is obvious, choose bitcoin or face the consequence storing your wealth in an inferior money.

I think Bitcoin solving transacting over distance without a financial intermediary is a good one.
That's something gold can't do, so there's some proof of additional utility there.
