I read a little more about this. Apparently the license permits Prometheum only to hold digital securities. It can not hold bitcoin because it is not a security. That's of course a good thing.
They haven't released what coins they will hold. It's going to be interesting to see if eth is on the list.

In the meantime, looking around their details, I read that Prometheum Ember Capital LLC are currently registered and licensed in 7 states:
- Idaho
- Iowa
- Mississippi
- Montana
- New York
- Rhode Island
- Washington
