The Tor network sometime is unstable, I suggest using it in Brave (Tor browser better) and if you keep a backup of your robot you have nothing to worry about

Yes. There have been issues in the past due to DDoS attacks on Tor network, but currently I am having no issues. Starting up Tor browser is simpler than using I2P.

The only way to use Robosats is on tor as far as I know.
Brave browser is a easy way to access to the tor network.
