Comfrey is a plant with various uses and benefits, including:
Medicinal Uses: Comfrey has been used for wound healing, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain associated with arthritis and muscle aches.
Biomass Production: It rapidly produces abundant plant material, which can be used as mulch or added to compost.
Bio-accumulator: Comfrey's deep roots bring up nutrients from deeper soil layers, and its leaves are rich in minerals like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, benefiting nearby plants when used as mulch.
Mulch: Comfrey's leaves can be used as a protective layer on the soil surface, suppressing weeds, conserving moisture, and providing nutrients as they decompose.
Composting: Comfrey's high nitrogen content makes it valuable for composting, but it should be balanced with carbon-rich materials to prevent odor and nutrient loss.
Liquid Fertilizer: Chopped comfrey leaves can be soaked in water to create a potent liquid fertilizer, known as comfrey tea, which can be diluted and used for plant fertilization.

It is one of the best plants I've ever worked with. It does all the stuff I wrote above but it's also a good looking landscape plant when it's planted en masse.
