I'm interested in this subject too. I think it would be a good project to collect 6 month and 1 year charts of inflating currencies v bitcoin. Turkey, for instance. I know the information is available, so any site recommendations would be welcome.

Speaking of Africa, I was looking recently and was surprised that many of the really poor countries have currencies that haven't fared so badly compared to ,say, Turkey or Lebanon.
