I appreciate the concern about blue checks leading to a social credit score. It's a risk to be sure, however...
Elon's doing some anti-establishment things here with the candidates announcing on spaces and while I don't support a social credit score, I support his efforts to take MSM down a notch, to get them all riled up and make them look foolish. As long as he seems to be doing more that and less the scoring I'll keep my subscription. I don't really use Twitter anymore, Nostr's got it going on in a big way, but it's like supporting the insurgency back home that fights against a rotten state.
Again, I have no desire for a social credit score and at this point all they can score is my $8. I'd be wary of a Twitter that gets too tightly integrated into daily life but also don't see it happening given how controversial Elon is. It's great to highlight these tight integrations of WeChat so we can BOLO. Thanks for fighting the good fight. SHSS.
