The notification of daily sat awards (red square, top-right corner) obfuscates other notifications (such as a reply to a posting). I think that daily sat awards hide social notifications which may result in reduced conversations between SN Users and reduce community interactions.
Thoughts?
It happens only once per day though, so it's not that distracting and it makes me smile to see the sats come :)

How does it hide the replies? By making it noisy?
reply
In my opinion, yes.
For example, I was unaware multiple people commented on this post because the sats notification is flooding other notifications
reply
I could see that being true if you aren’t posting on the site every day. I’ll maybe collapse multiple adjacent earn notifications into one

I don't know if this would solve it. Rather, it might be useful to have an envelope icon that turns a different color (or some other visual indicator) which highlights new responses to a post.
The daily-sat flag could remain on the wallet balance (as designed today).
This approach would separate community replies vs sat stacking

could you like bold the stacked wallet balance, or like 3510 \ 4125 [121] <-that indicating your daily stack from participation.

The payment IS a social interaction. It's the companies who pay for job posts paying you to see have access to their job posts. It's also a primary incentivizer for people who do nothing but "like" stuff to keep liking things and coming back. It drives user behavior. It's unlike other social media, where use behavior is driven by other users liking their stuff, and then the service is free in exchange for access to your subconscious through ads. Here you can see what the value of your subconscious is. That said, it's hardly subconscious at this point, since people here already have pretty much accepted Bitcoin into their life, and there is only Bitcoin related stuff. But give it 20 years with the existing model and I see this sort of being the elevator pitch.
Related, this is a "social media" site. But, social is such a funny word. There's a great bit in Hayek's 'The Fatal Conceit' about the word that I really love. The book in PDF form is here. The passage I'm talking about starts around page 110 titled 'Terminological Ambiguity and Distinctions among Systems of Coordination'.

instead, replace it with a meter that continually keeps running, I think everyone is getting more than 24 sats right? So the meter can continually be moving and increase by at least 1 every hour.
