If I'm allowed to go full conspiracy for one post, what do you think the odds are that the goal of the latest moves from the SEC is to try and crash the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos so that whoever they work for can buy at a discount?
Surely they've realized that stopping it isn't really on the table anymore as there are many other countries that are in the process of setting up somewhat reasonable regulations to where the industry will just move and in order to stop it you would need a very large scale, global effort
Actually classifying it all as securities won't work because other countries aren't doing it?
Anything else I am missing?

Haha I didn't say the SEC is "bad" for Bitcoin, but the initial reaction in the market caused the price te decline sharply for bit which is what I was referring to
Funny meme though

if the US was truly hostile towards bitcoin it would try to lure everyone into its jurisdiction first.

whenever this comes up (it also came up with Elon, back in the day), it's always best to remind yourself how tiny the value of bitcoin is, compared to other investment vehicles, and at this price, it really makes little difference to multibillionaires if one coin is 10000 or 30000. the profits reaped in the short term with that fade in relation to their other grifts. the profit to be made in the long term won't differ much from any entry point between those.

So true... You don't think their greed would get the better of them to try and milk their investment as much as possible?

One huge flaw in most US gov conspiracy theories is that there is a single goal or direction the beast is headed. The idea that the SEC, treasury, POTUS, and the rest of the system is working like some well oiled machine is false. There are many actors working together but probably more with their own little agendas. Look at recent history. The gov agencies are all over the place. This works in our benefit.

They're always trying to crash the price, & its not to buy some. They have pretty much unlimited $$$ so they could buy at any price
Switch it: off
