The Pope
If I could orange pill the Pope it might spark a massive adoption surge in the following manner:
I've read articles claiming that there are around 1.2 to 1.5 billion baptised Catholics around the world. If these figures are correct and you assume that a large portion of them are truly devout to their beliefs and, in general, accept the teachings and beliefs that are handed down from the Vatican, then it's a good lineup for a surge in adoption because the Pope would declare Bitcoin to be a divine money or money literally sent from God (either because he is convinced that it truly is a gift from above or because he sees an opportunity to collect some of that sweet, global tithe)
Naturally, the church would start accepting Bitcoin and the Pope would prefer people send Bitcoin (the better money) instead of fiat. As word spreads to followers around the world that the Pope declared Bitcoin a "divine" money and encourages people that donations be made in Bitcoin, it would cause many Catholics to expose themselves to Bitcoin when they likely would not have
On the other hand there's already some people who think the Pope is the antichrist, and America, which has a strong interest in the current fiat system, is protestant. Seems like a good way to start a religious war.
