Crap, I have a couple domains with them. Time to move them I guess.

The Google Graveyard has found it's newest member.
Big reason I avoid Google's smaller business offerings, no idea if they'd be killed in a few years down the line.

I hesitate to recommend Namecheap due to their censorship in the past but... if you were on Google... you probably aren't prioritizing that. Namecheap is a good registrar overall.

Damn it, that's what I use for my domains. Where should I move?

I'm moving to Porkbun. I have a few domains registered with them and I had a good experience overall, like many others if you look at the comments on HN.

Ok, found the thread, and another one where someone said they like porkbun more than cloudfare. Cloudfare is the other one I would think makes sense to consider. My thinking there would also be that Cloudfare is a much bigger company, with more technical expertise, can have better security, and is more likely to exist for a while. The name porkbun also is not particularly confidence inspiring.

I was just about to buy a domain via Google Domains, since I've had good experience with it before. Maybe this is God telling me I should try something other than a website to host the content for my music project.
