Seems like the primary use case would be a mobile lightning wallet. The design however could be extended to other use cases like a browser extension; it appears to be designed to be a minimal lightning node, e.g. how do you non-custodially send and receive lightning payments without all the overhead of channel management, routing, blockchain syncing, etc.

It was the original intention. Cliche though intends to use IMMORTAN as for server backend.

This is an amazing piece of software, still work-in-progress, based on IMMORTAN, that can do Lightning things, it is a "lite node", as we may call.
Immortan is a minimal, privacy-focused, opinionated LN protocol implementation aimed to specifically power lite LN nodes which are mostly to be found on mobile phones or desktop computers and only run private channels.
