Interesting. Does Electrum not display fee amounts in dollars?

As for fee estimation, we use https://mempool.space which currently is one of the better fee estimation algorithms out there. AFAIK Electrum has its own algorithm.

I used cpfp with electrum for my ledger, which is bloody awful at fee estimation.

But to be fair, I didn't understand fees in dollar amounts at the time.
