Yeah Microsoft isn't going to be a fan of third party solutions. Most platforms want tight control over the data within it so allowing third party apps is out of the question. This also means caring about the user experience when it goes against what the data is saying is not going to happen.

Look at the bright side: after two decades of shitty Microsoft software, I'm fairly certain that any AGI they co-create with "Open"AI is going to be a fuckup.

It is incredible they learned nothing with Skype. Their mismanagement of Skype directly lead to Discord eating their lunch.
