Makes sense. I had been using Nitter to follow some accounts, but since that's no longer an option I've migrated to Nostr instead. Probably many others are doing the same.

Yeah I miss it dearly. Honestly Twitter and Reddit aren't so bad so long as you're not forced into using their crappy apps. :'(

I thinkreddit will get rid of old.reddit.com soon, so it's going to be really shit. But i found an app on f-droid called stealth, check it out, it has a scrapping feature too so it might be future proof. No posting ability though.

I don't think that Nostr can escalate such amount of users yet without improving all clients and content uploads. It is hard to follow the reels and the loading time is taking a lot. The global chat is full of bots and the following ones are topic oriented. I believe it is the future, but needs lot of improvements yet.
