I will say that for the few posts I’ve made that are longer than a sentence or two, I draft them in VSCode which has nice (IMO) built in markdown preview support. Once I’m happy with it, then I paste it in to SN’s input form and check formatting in the preview tab. I wouldn’t draft anything substantial in the browser for fear of accidentally refreshing the page and losing my work.
I do the same, but just use a simple Libre doc. I have grown to love the simplicity of markdown. Quick and easy. As an incremental improvement maybe a save draft feature would be helpful.
