Damn. Didn't know there were so many climbing fans on SN. I don't really follow it but I am fascinated by it. I watched the Free Solo documentary (amazing) last year and went down a climbing rabbit hole for a few days.

Alex Honnold is just built different. If you’re interested, you can check out this video where Magnus Midtbo (one of Norway’s best climber back in the day) went soloing with Honnold. You can see how casual and chill Honnold is, doing climbs or standing on small ledges, filming with one hand, casually chatting, doing all that while without a rope. The guy just has no fear…

Climbing is awesome! It's also good mental training. Maybe that's even the best part about it.
I also think climbers have the best physique in terms of aesthetics. Very lean but still strong af
But I don't know much about other sports. So I guess I am very biased.
