If for some reason you want to run desktop Windows or desktop Linux applications, that will be possible on GrapheneOS out-of-the-box in the fairly near future since the devices we support all have hardware-accelerated virtualization now and we plan to provide a VM management app.

The Graphene dude flipped out on Louis Rossman, but damn if this isn't looking like some sexy ass software. I'm even tempted to get the new pixel tablet which works with graphene right away.

I don't think his behaviour caused by damaged mental health is a sign of compromise. He's been developing a project like this for almost a decade. I think his social media posts tell more that he is completely obsessed with security rather than willing to break it.

There are some really sexier future plans of theirs I want to see such as their desire of moving to a secure microkernel / hypervisor with Android space running in virtualization, the duress PIN, web browser privacy improvements etc.
