I get Anita Posch's Newsletter, but I can't figure out how to copy it. I got more sats than I expected last week for just posting an excerpt. I'm doing it again, but forwarding all sats to @anita
Spending BTC in Africa I often get asked how people in Africa use Bitcoin. The answer is simple: they buy and store it, they spend it and they send it. One of the biggest supermarket chains in South Africa, PicknPay for example, has integrated Lightning Payments in every store. Bitrefill is another noteworthy service, allowing users to top up their phones with BTC to use and send it around the globe. In this short clip I talk with Abubakar Nur Khalil a Nigerian Bitcoin core developer about the possibilities of Bitcoin payments as well as the African mindset towards Bitcoin and making money.

As the clock ticks forward and I consider all the ups and downs of it, it seems to me like Africa is going to see a renaissance before the rest of the world... So much grassroots upswell going on and so many people joining in so fast...
