I'm interested in data science but IMO it would just add more clutter to SN.  I think there's a user that's already been posting content from Hacker News which presumably also covers data science topics

I think it fits the tech theme, but it's also like startup news. It would be better if it had a decentralized, self-hosted angle or something more relevant in terms of new tech capabilities that people should be aware of. Also I heard about this more than a week ago on a VC podcast so it could be fresher. Hope it helps.
