I don't think this is the case at all. Why would anyone pick Starlink if you can get something that is more stable and faster? Fiber is superior.
Starlink is just an alternative for folks that do not have the option of getting something better. It replaces 3G/LTE/5G connections, not fiber. Those mobile connections are usually just from one of a few bigger telecom providers.
Give it time, starlink will one say be the centralized entry point to the internet, complete with biometric worldcoin type I'd to use it

Starlink, so long as they are providing internet solely through LEO satellites, will not become the central provider of internet for a variety of reasons.

StarLink is too expensive and unreliable for many applications, and for many users. Amazon is about to launch their StarLink competitor, and I'm sure we'll have another as well soon. I'm a big believer in the future of mesh networks though, and how decentralized money will ensure the ability to build open source globally.
