LOL@suggestion a shitcoin would replace bitcoin.

Yes. Lets say. Would you switch or suffer losses?

reply

You have work to do. I lose nothing unless I lose my private keys. NGU is a feature of bitcoin, not the point of bitcoin.

reply

So go down with ship if need be :) okay

reply

"down with the ship" is an extremely naive conclusion.

reply

So you would switch to inflationary "bitcoin"?

reply

In a fork no one needs to switch because your private keys work in both.

reply

So you hold Bcash, BSV and rest? Thats shitcoinery brother. Not good.

reply

i haven't touched any of the forks, but theoretically, if they take over the world, my private keys work there

Ok, avoiding answer is answer too....

reply

It will replace bitcoin because bitcoin refuses to adapt and address the issues that other blockchains have fixed. Like volatile fees that are not cost-effective or free along with unknown confirmation times which include in some instances an hour between blocks being generated. The bitcoin maxi crowd refuses to accept bitcoin's blockchain has any flaws at all, and that's why bitcoin will eventually die if lightning doesn't save it's ass.

reply

No blockchains solved it while remaining decentralized...
Miners already have to deal with volatility so why couldnt they continue? There will always be bear and bull for miners as well.

So in my hypotetical scenario, you switch to normie inflationary BTC?

reply

they just implemented a softfork a few years ago, just as many years ago as Bitcoin Cashers have been crying that it would replace Bitcoin. Cry harder.
