Yes for sure. And there are probably some too that don't consciously admit their opposition is due to a power loss.

Because then there is hope that with enough time and touch points, they'll eventually get it and maybe even support it.

And I believe it is even true for many cantillionaires.

I suspect it's not very obvious to cantillionaires how conflicted their interests are wrt Bitcoin. People seem to assume they get it and oppose Bitcoin because they understand that they'll lose power in a Bitcoin world. I don't think they do get it and opposed for other FUD reasons.
