You know, I'm not kidding. We can stay with fellow bitcoiners we know here and get a circular economy going- for conferences, vacations, whatever.
Posting your address/location on a public online forum where people are likely to have btc is maybe not the best idea.... ?

I thought of that. There would have to be a way to move the conversation to a more private setting. These issues will eventually need to be resolved in many areas if bitcoin is to be used for day to day transactions. Even selling items involves revealing an address.

Well, it obviously just occurred to me and I haven't thought it out. That seems to be the same risk in all bnb transactions. I wouldn't rent out my home either way, but an investment property is another story.

I guess. The credit and debit cards in your wallet might be more vulnerable to a physical attack than bitcoin in cold storage, though. The whole airbnb concept has risk.
