Not mentioning Bitcoin is a strategy that only works where the product advantage is obvious and unbeatable. For example, if you use Lightning and can charge a fraction of what your competitors charge.
In this case of messaging apps, no such product advantage exists for you. It’s probably better to just appeal directly to Bitcoiners if the product even uses Bitcoin at all (I can’t tell from the splash page).

I agree. I don't understand why anyone is launching Bitcoin products thinking they can leapfrog bitcoiners as the early user base. Bitcoiners by their nature are early adopters plus they're highly motivated to see bitcoin used in new ways. They are also generally conscientious. Bitcoiners are the perfect users people.
