I am a self proclaimed BTC Maxi and a secondary educator. I have read articles in BTC Magazine and other BTC outlets about BTC programs that target college students, but I haven't heard a lot about potential BTC curriculums that could be discussed in High School (or even lower) Social Studies classes. Has anybody heard of any? Or do you all feel like this would be something worth designing. I feel like a nonprofit style curriculum course where kids end up with a wallet and some Sats would be amazing.
I know that areas across the world will use BTC ambassadors to spread the word with their fellow younger students, but I believe this is a big step toward mass adoption in the US. The curriculum could even be suited for civic groups such as the YMCA, Scouts or Junior Rotary if schools didn't agree to allow it. Teaching about sound money at such a young age could definitely save a lot of young people from economic hardship.
