When? I think it was when google show the world how much money they can make by handling information. (Remember Seinfeld episode when Newman said, "those who control the mail, control the information"?) It ain't the bad word, they made it into one. Because they missing the major point. Privacy is not secrecy, plus they profit from the information they collect. That's why. When I say THEY I mean tech companies in bed with the governments "for your protection" of course.

Privacy is always a bad word to the psychopaths who control you, whether it's an abusive friend, partner, or a bunch of people who are openly and proudly calling us "hackable animals" and literally have voted in laws in places that states that the government is allowed to hack your phone and spy on you.
