I am planning to do a Bitcoin presentation in a public space in my city. The goal is to do a basic presentation not to go deep into any technical part.
The only limitation is time and I'm finding a little bit hard to summarize the most relevant information about Bitcoin.
This are the topics I'm planning to explain:
  • what happened before Bitcoin: failed projects for creating a digital currency.
  • what is Bitcoin: the blockchain and the currency transmitted on the network. How is created & halving.
  • why Bitcoin has value.
  • How to get some Bitcoin.
  • where can you store Bitcoin.
  • Q & A.
Would you add any topic or delete one that I'm planning to explain?
Remember, it is a basic level presentation and only 45 min to do it.
Any advice will be welcome!
Just my opinion, but I would stay away from pre Satoshi history. No-coiners won't find it as fascinating as we do. Likewise, I wouldn't get into too much about the blockchain beyond the basics. I would emphasize value(scarcity, security, inflation protection) how to get it, and wallets. Don't go too crazy about hardware wallets and multisig or anything like that. I guess I would just recommend keeping it as simple as possible

Don't let them think they can make money buying and selling Bitcoin.
Explain that Bitcoin is not just a currency. It has network characteristics and program characteristics. It is actually an agreement that allows users to conduct transactions without the assistance of a trusted third party.
I usually say that if it is a kind of future, the sooner you understand and learn it, the better, and you can learn more at a young age. The desire to learn is restricted as you get older, and older people always hope that things don't change.
Human beings have been learning money unconsciously from birth to adulthood, and Bitcoin is very different from previous learning experiences, especially the characteristics of not requiring a third party make it difficult for novices to understand. They always want to use Bitcoin roughly. The currency is stored in a third-party institution until the loss occurs.

It will be in September, the date is still open.
In my city finding a good location is not an easy task.

I'm planning on doing that soon for a meetup and that would be max 20 min. I think the first thing to discuss is what is money and why it has value and then explain why bitcoin. Also I'd definitely discuss what is inflation and how it could be avoided.

You can watch my video I did entitled "Bitcoin the Second Most Powerful Mechanic of Freedom" on my freedom website https://freeasabove.xyz/video-presentations. All the sides can be downloaded too.
It took me about an hour to get through and the Q&A was about 30mins.
