Indeed. For stacking sats medium term. I get it over the long term you probably best use a hardware wallet. Reason I'm asking is because not everyone can afford a hardware wallet. So stack sats for the short to medium term (6 months-2 years) until a hardware wallet is achievable to buy.

Fair, yeah you can make your security as simple or as complex as you want - keeping the keys off the phone means you have got to keep those back ups safe which comes with its own trade offs.

Indeed. Are there ways people store it online like in secret wordsearches perhaps or puzzles that ai wont be able to pick online. I'm thinking it might be a trade off, as you said, for some people to keep their own private keys remembering where the keys are, which is why so many people might invest in spot bitcoin ETF once it is approved.
