I think everyone here knows who Hal Finney was. But just in case, today it is a good day to remember him and all he did for Bitcoin. He was very humble and always helping others. Many of us think he was Satoshi himself. We may never know. In any case he was very important for the development of Bitcoin and a great human being. Thank you Hal.

The Birthday Paradox applies to special events too - not just birthdays.

If you enjoy feelings of woo, look and see what important events happened on your birthday. I have some good ones.

The more I read about Hal, the more I want him to be Satoshi. Great man! Left us too soon.

If by "right next to" you mean across town, then sure, it's still quite a coincidence.

But let's not forget that Both Satoshi and Nakamoto are common names in Japan.

Creating bitcoin required a strong, working knowledge of Monetary Theory, Encryption, and C++ programming. I don't think Dorian has any history of the first two.

It's Hal.
