I discovered Spritz Finance yesterday and created an account mostly out of curiosity but also because I miss paying for bills with BTC (hopefully BitRefill can bring that service back).
There is some KYC, but you're able to quickly add any accounts that can accumulate bills by adding your account number.
So far, I've only added my credit card account to it but it seems like there's a lot more you can pay for, including mortgages. I sent a test payment of $50 BTC to see how long it takes. Right now, the estimated delivery date is September 2nd, so looks like it might take a while lol.
I'll keep you all posted. Spritz seems like a very new company at the end of the day so who knows if they'll grow and add the Lightning network at all or if it'll just tank.
Did you say KYC? no thanks
reply
yep unfortunately that's the case. really missing Bitrefill's bill pay offerings at the moment.
reply
I think that Bitrefill asked for full KYC.

You might be right, it's been a while since I created an account. I did think that at least some of their services like their gift cards didn't need KYC right? But maybe bill pay required it?
I'm thinking about using it. Do they ask for 'hard' KYC (copies of ID documents, selfie, live video, proof of address documents) or is it just 'soft' KYC checked against credit report (name, date of birth, address but without proof...)?
reply
i think it's more "soft" KYC. i didn't upload any photos of my ID or whatever. all my provided was my name, date of birth, and my phone number i believe.

Thanks!
