Lightning Node? Bitcoin node?

  • Run a node
  • Run a tor onion service
  • Create an ad/tracker-blocking VPN/DNS server
  • Create a network attached storage for your home

Some other people tinker with pi's such as using them for CCTV solutions or whatnot also.

Start 9 personal server!

You'll need an external hard drive (1TB) to hold the blockchain. Highly recommended, if you'd like to be a sovereign bitcoiner with minimal financial outlay.

Dead easy to run both a full node, lightning channels, plus many other services as listed here: https://marketplace.start9.com/marketplace

Woah. This is excellent. This might be exactly what I do. Full BTC node and Lightning channels.

Thank you!
