Its being done now but I suspect it will take off when a new game that is using bitcoin takes off. Most likely an up and coming game company not one of the big boys. The big boys don't have the incentives to let go of their seigniorage. Once gamers see how it would work with bitcoin in a game the demand for it will rise. Hard to say when this will happen. I think the crypto bros have really set us back with all their scams based in short term vision lacking wisdom and integrity.
Yeah for sure for sure. You said its being done now. You know of a game building game that uses Bitcoin right now? Can you point me in the right direction?

I know there is a minecraft server that was posted a while back. I think they are using https://zebedee.io. But you are aware of that probably. Maybe I'm thinking less specific than your post.

I would consider Minecraft to have the ability at least to create games within its game. So that's fair enough. You can self host your own Minecraft server too (so its decentralized) lol.
Idk I guess I was thinking a purpose built game building game that expressly uses Bitcoin rather than a game that's been appropriated and had Bitcoin built into it, but maybe we don't need to. Maybe just integrating Bitcoin into games that are already around is fine.
